Overall, the area witnessed dramatic transformations, with the disappearance of several farmlands and the mushrooming of many residential places. In the West of the main road where the shops had been located in 1930, there wasere a new thoroughfare surrounded by many houses. Also, farmlands in proximity to the post office were replaced by a state-of-the-art housing area, with multiple roadways. However, River Stroke and the bridge remained unchanged. The East of the main lane experienced the emergence of several apartments and roads, especially with numerous boxes along this course. Farmlands in the Northeast of the village were turned into a residential place with a various roads being constructed. The primary school directly opposite to the post office became twice asdouble large as it used to ber. Moreover, the gardens were narrowed to make way for a late path and a number of residential areasce. The large building was converted into retirement home with two additional blocks. In conclusion, within an 80-year period, the village made up a considerable growth.
