The two maps illustrate how Tempton, a seaside resort, developed in a period of thirteen years, from 2000 to 2013. Overall, This village witnessed several changes, the most noticeable concern the replacement of many trees and houses with blocks of flats and the added of facilities and infrastructures. In 2000 there were many houses in a residential area, in the south-west of the river, just in front of the sea, numerous trees and only one block of flats. Also at the north-west of the river and around the lake was located a few houses and trees. During the thirteen years later, along the seariver in the south-west, trees and small buildings were replaced by two other towering bloks of flats, and on the opposite side of a small new road, it was built a supermarket. Similarly, in the north-west of the river, some trees were cut down and houses removed for the construction of several buildings. Also in the est side of the river there were some important changes, in particular, in 2000 there were the school and hospital buildings, trees everywhere and a railway station. While in 2013 every tree was chopped down, was added the airport in the south, just next to the river, a factory in the north, rather, hospital and school was remained there. Furthermore the railway was extended, running along the coast, also a ferry service was placed in the south-east of the resort.
