From an overall perspective, it can be seen that the place has become more densely populated than before with the disappearance of several farmlands were replaced by houses. There was no change in the location of the bridge.
In 1930, the village consisted mostly of farmlands. On both sides of the road, there were some shops, a post office, a small primary school, and houses were added along the main road. In the east of the village, a large house was surrounded by gardens.
In the following eighty-year period, River Stroke, the post office, and the bridge maintained constant. However, two farmlands in the NE and SW were destroyed, and then new roads, houses were constructed in their original places. The primary school opposite the post office has been extended virtually double in size. Additionally, the gardens were diminished to make new ways, houses, and a large house also was developed, became bigger.
