The two pictures describe how a town called Stokeford change in 80 years from 1930. From an overall perspective, it can be seen that the place has become more densely populated than before with the disappearance of several farmlands were replaced by houses. There was no change in the location of the bridge. In 1930, the village consisted mostly of farmlands. On both sides of the road, there were some shops, a post office, a small primary school, and houses were added along the main road.
