These are two maps of the same atoll. The first map demonstrates what was originally the island look like, whereas the second one illustrates how did the island resemble after the construction of a restaurant, a reception, a pier and a plethora of bungalows.
On the first map, there were not any roads that come across the island and there was a remote beach in the west of it.
On the second map, the island witnessed a number of considerable changes. First and foremost, a pier was constructed in the south of the area. Moreover, one vehicle track was built, which linked the pier with the restaurant in the north of the region. Furthermore, a reception was erected in the centre of the island. In addition, two main footpaths were constructed in both east and west of the area. More particularly, the former one led to five bungalows next to the reception building, while the latter to six in the west. Each were connected with the main road by secondary lanes. Finally, a third footpath road made the beach accesible to the public.
On the whole, the construction of various tourist facilities has trasformed the island into a place of outdoor entertainment. Although the beach is still the same, it is now accessible via a footpath.
