The given graphs indicate the percentage of smokers as well as consumption of alcohol per person in three countries. The available data is from 1960 to 2000 in the span of ten years. If noticed towards the daily smokers, in USA, it was somewhat 59% in the 1960 and 1970. However, percentage of population who smoke daily declined drastically by nearly 14% and kept decreasing steadily throughout the remaining years. Moreover, Japan and Holland had 50% and 40% of population respectively which smoked daily. The percentage decreased steadily for Japan to 40% by 2000. Whereas, in Holland, a steady decline of nearly 5% was witnessed by 1980 but the percentage dipped suddenly by more 15% by the end. On the other hand, in the initial year, Holland had nearly four liters of alcohol consumption per person, which dramatically increased to 11 liters in following two decades and was 10 liters per person in 2000. In USA, alcohol consumption was eight liters per person initially and kept increasing steadily until 1980 but it declined in following years. However, the data for Turkey fluctuated throughout the years.
