The two diagrams describe the existing and the future development plan of the Islip town center. Overall, there are major modifications noticed during the forecast development. To begin, the countryside is close to the center according to the current map. The main road connects the shops, a school, houses, and the park. Looking at the plan the town center has expanded into an oval shape. The single roads are replaced with the dual carriageway all around the center of town. With this, the countryside has been disappeared. The main road which was between the shops has now been converted to a pedestrian walkway. And all the shops towards the north of the Islip center town is converted to a bus station, car parking, shopping mall and new addition to this are a housing area has been included. All the shos towards the south of the main road remain unchanged. It can be noticed that the parking area has been reduced and is now at the side of the dual carriageway. The houses are located at the south of the shops and a few next to the school with easy access to the road.
