The transformation of the airport configuration

The transformation of the airport configuration R5158

The figures represented below display the recent condition of a place called Southwest Airport and its transformation plan. Overall, when the airport has been renovated in the future, there will be some additional facilities for the passangers. Currently, based on the left figure, the airport is having two main sections. The west section, which becomes the location of the departures door, is being used for several facilities, such as cafe, check in area, passport control locket and security post. Meanwhile, the east section is the place for another passport control locket and customer services for those who are just arrived to this airport. There are also two walkways which are situated in the north of these main sections. In the future, the west main section will be added by two facilities, namely shopping area and bag drop area. There will be also an additional departure door in this section. Furthermore, in the east main section, the management will provide several new facilities, such as car hire and cafe, and an arrival door. Subsequently, the walkways in the north section will be replaced by two sky trains. This section appearances also will be constructed in a Y-shaped design.
