The two maps depict the layout of Paradise Island in the past and present. Overall, there are many developments in the central area of the Paradise Island in the present. It is clearly seen that, on the east of the island, there were rocks and natural spring in the past. Although the natural spring has been replaced by a cafe on the north-eastern side of the island, the rocks are at the same place now. Moreover, in the past there were many trees in the middle of the island, but now there is an open restaurant and BBQ area. Stating further, in the past, there was scientific station in the center of the island. It is converted into swimming pool and hotel complex right now. Adding to this, the pier and the beach to the west remain unchanged. In addition to this, the swimming facility has been added to beach on the North-west side of the island. Earlier there were boats on the sea and now the cruise shop is situated there.
