The table illustrates the ratio of mature pupils aged fifty-year-old who were unmarried from 1970 to 2010, over a 40-year period, whereas the line graph depicts the number of marriage and divorce in Japan between 1970 and 2016. Overall, it is apparent from the table that the percentage of 50-year-old adults who never been married experienced a upward trend throughout the year, however the line graph evident that the number of marriages were more until the final year compared to divorce. To commerce with the table, at first glance, merely 2% of residents of age 50-year-plf were unmarried in the first year which increased slowly by 2% in 1980. Similarly, it inclined minimally to 7% in 1990. Over the following next 20 years, the proportion I'd elderly masses who never been married grew gradually from 7% in 1990 to 15% in 2010. Turning to the second chart, 10000000 people had married in 1970 and it dropped considerably to reach 800000 in between 2000 and 2010. Likewise, the number of marriage decilned steadily to just over 600000 by the bed of the year.
