The table gives the information about the underground railway systems in six cities namely London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles. London is the earliest underground railway system among the other, it was opened in the year 1863 and the next is Paris which is opened in year 1900, then after Tokyo is in year 1927 for the underground railway system. Whereas in Washington DC the underground railway system opened in year 1976 and later for Kyoto, it is opened in year 1981 and the last underground railway system is opened in year 2001 in Los Angeles. Coming to length London has the largest underground railway system which is around 394 kilometers of total route whereas for Paris, it is half to the London. For Tokyo, 155 kilometers route of underground railway system. Washington DC has 126 kilometers long and for Kyoto, it is the smallest among all which is of 11 kilometers route. Coming to Los Angeles it's around 28 kilometers long. Interestingly, Tokyo has the highest passengers per year which is around 1927 millionsand 2nd most highest is in Paris which is around 1191 millions passengers served per year. Coming to London 775 millions of passengers travelled per year in the underground railway system. For Washington DC its around 144 millions of passengers per year, whereas for Kyoto is the least with an around 45 millions passengers served per annual.
