To begin with, in the first period, the sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee in Switzerland were only three million euros which were two times the UK and Denmark coffee sales. Belgium and Sweden witnessed similar sales, one million euros approximately. Average sales of coffee in 2004 saw higher in all countries and the highest sales presented by the UK, 20 million of ueros.
Turning into another table, bananas sales in UK and Belgium showed the least market, just around one million of euros while in Sweden and Denmark was two folds.
