Overall, the consumptions of coffee had experienced upward trend in all countries within five years, while the consumption of banana seemed to decrease in several countries such as Belgium and Sweden.
According to the first table, there was a significant increase in the coffee sales in the UK from 1. 5 million of euros in 1999 to 20 million of euros in 2004. The other countries underwent a rise as well. Coffee sales in the Switzerland doubled the sales from 3 to 6 million of euros. Denmark, Belgium, and Sweden also experienced an increase between 0. 2 to 0. 7 millions of euros difference.
On the other hand, the growth of banana sales only happened in 3 countries which were UK, Switzerland, and Denmark. There was a dramatic surge in the respective country, such as, UK sold banana in 1999 for 15 to 47 million of euros, and for Switzerland and Denmark, profits rose more than three times from year 1999 to 2004. Meanwhile, Belgium and Sweden seemed to decline by 0. 8 to 0. 11 million of euros.
