The diagrams show Queen Mary Hospital at the different stages of its development: 1960, 1980 and 2000. Queen Mary Hospital was built in 1960 on the main road and in 40 years had some development of infrastructure that surrounds it. During this period, new nursing school was added; a cancer center has been created and extended. In 1960, the hospital had a large parking area behind the building. There was a shopping center next to the hospital and the land behind it was used for farming. In 1980, the Shopping Center was demolished and replaced by two new buildings: pharmacy and cancer center. The farmland behind former shopping center was replanned into nursing school. Furthermore, in 2000, car park capacity was reduced by a half where new building of nursing school was constructed. Cancer Center’s area was extended and took over the old nursing school. Nevertheless, the hospital building space remained the same during these years.
