The table illustrates the body weight of male and female persons of a country for a period of three years, 1999, 2004 and 2009. Overall, it is depicted that most of the men and women are following a healthy diet and regular routine which helps them to maintain their normal weight, but there are some instances where they are slightly overweight and underweight. and To begin with, in the year 1999 27% females were underweight, whereas their male counter-part was 22%, in 2004 the proportion for women increased but for male it declined that is 29% and 20% respectively, in the year percentage for female deteriorated and for male it slightly rose at 28% and 23% relatively. Due their healthy diet both man and women were at normal weight in year 1999 to 49% and 41%, whereas in 2004 both become more health conscious because of which their normal weight percentage also increased more than 50% for females and less than 50% for males. In the year 2009 both had a same proportion of normal weight that is 47% On the other hand, in case of overweight category, in 1999 male gender outperform female gender by 12%, while in 2004 21% women and 23% men came under this category. Lastly in 2009 only 19% of male and female population was suffering from the issue of obesity
