Both maps illustrate the change in the town of Denham from 1986 to the present day. Overall, Denham town has developed a large number of houses and enlarged buildings. However, currently, farmland has not been used at all. In 1986, the town of Denham had various facilities. Across the bridge, following the road and river, there were 10 houses and 2 buildings of shops. Also, in front of the post office, there was a primary school. In the center of the city, south of the primary school, there was a garden and a large house. The other areas, which were not used by residents at the time, were farmland for farm animals. In the present day, Denham town has changed into a more residential place. The number of houses in the town has increased by nearly 6 times. Also, the primary school has enlarged its building. The large house with a garden has been renovated into a retirement home which has expanded the building noticeably. Moreover, the farmland is no longer used for farms and their animals.
