The table illustrates the quantity of five junk foods which was consumed in 2005, currently and later in 2025 in Melbourne. Overall, Hamburger had the highest consumption amount in the past 2005 as well as currently and it is predicted to rise in the future. Moreover, fried rice and noodles were the least patronized foods in the past, currently and would continue to maintain that position in the future 2025. In 2005, the consumption value of hamburger was the greatest with 40 and has decreased slightly to 38 now. Meanwhile, it is estimated to rise significantly in 2025 to approximately 51. With regards to fried chicken, a total amount of 35 was recorded in 2005, rising steadily to 37 in present year and would experience a climb in 2025 to approximately 45. On the other hand, the consumption of salad was the lowest in the past year 2005 at an amount of 5, not only has there been a significant increase in its patronage to 15 now but also it is estimated to rocket to 41 in 2025. Considering fried rice and noodles, the recorded the same amount of 6 in 2005. Currently, there is a slight increase in their consumption of 9 and 8 respectively. On the contrary, patronage of these two foods is predicted to level off at 9 each in 2025.
