Grammar(24%) and voluntary controlled schools(58%) saw major decline in pupils attending their schools(12% and 20% respectively), with grammar school losing half the proportion of people from 2005 and voluntary controlled schools losing 14% and 18% attendance in 2005 and 2009.
A considerable growth in the number of people attending the community school was seen which grew steadily at 20% and 26% and had almost a five fold increase(58%) from the initial year(12%). There was a steady decline amongst students attending specialist schools which started at 12% and fell 1% in each of those years.
