Although price changes were consistent across the period, carrots and apples showed the most significant price changes, more or less reserving their position. The cost of fruits was high, with prices of bananas, kiwi fruits growing only slightly every year, but apples skyrocketed to just over 1. 5 pounds by 2014. Almost the same as bananas grew slightly on average 7 pounds every year, while kiwi fruits rose slightly on an average 1 pound every year (2012, 2013, 2014). On the other hand, the price of vegetables in Britain reduced over the period.
