The table illustrates the proportion of rail transportaion in four different countries(Malaysis, Canada, China and UAE respectively) in 2007. Overall, China has the most significant figures in both people who are preferring rail transport as well as passengers kilometers per head of population compared to Canada which has the least percentage. Besides, Canada country who carried Cargo in terms of tons has a highest margin than UAE which is the lowest. In terms of China, a majority of people are travelling from railway transport which has a tremendous numbers which consists of 27 millions compared to Canada where most of the public shown less interest which is almost 0. 3%. In fact, Both Malaysia and UAE people comprised of on average of around 5. 7% respectively. Similarly, China passengers per head who has a significant rise in figures to 1980 as opposed to 80 in Canada. Malayasia and UAE consists of 770 and 780 in numbers. Cargo goods on the other hand, Canada outlays the other three countries in the period given. Here all the countries have a slight margin in terms of billions of tons. Canada has the highest proportion which comprises 28. 20%. Moreover, China, Malaysia and UAE have the margin just under 24% which consists of (23. 01%, 22. 2% and 21. 9% respectively).
