The table depicts the data about the percentage of income both and children spent on 4 similar items in the United Kingdom in 1988. In general, it is noticable that the number of all ages group who use namely: food, electronic equipment, music and videos in the UK. It is clear that, adults was the most spent on money for food products in 1988. In contrast, spending on food products were 10%, 9% and 11% for children spent of their money on electronic and music items expenditure 39 percentage, whereas food accounted for the lowest of their expenses 10%. The items witnessed the biggest different between boys and girls was electronic equipment, boys used 18% of their income, comparison with girls who used only 5%. So, men spent 21% of their earning on electronic gadgets, which was exactly treble than that of women.
