The bar chart illustrates the proportions of the entire globe inhabitants in four different nations between the years 1950 to 2000, with forecast up to 2050. Units are measured in percentage. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the population of the whole world were significantly higher in India and China and is expected to also increase in the next half century. However, percentage of the worldwide inhabitants in the four countries with the exception of India decreased over the 50 year period with projections to still decline in the next 50 years. In terms of countries, the entire world population in 1950 was just over 25% which declined to about 24% in 2000 and is expected to decrease to almost 18% in 50 years to come. In the USA the percentage of the globes population in 1950 was 10 and fell to approximately 8% in the next 50 years. The inhabitants in the USA is anticipated to remain the same as in 50 years to come. The difference in the population of Japan over the 50 years was only 2% and is expected to also decrease slightly in 2050. On the other hand, the Indian inhabitants was 15% of the world’s population in 1950 and rose to just below 20% in 2000. It is projected in the next five decade to grow to almost 22%.
