The table illustrates the pay scale of teachers who worked at secondary and high school in six different nations namely Australia, Denmark, Luxembourg, Japan and Korea in the year of 2009. In general, teachers came from Luxembourg had the highest in the starting and maximum salary. Additionally, in Luxembourg, Japan and Korean, teachers had to work for roughly 30 years to reach maximum salary meanwhile just need under 10 years for teachers worked in Australia and Denmark got the same earnings. As we can see from the chart, secondary and high school teachers in Luxembourg had the highest offer among six countries, at 80. 000 dollar which was three times higher than that in Australia, at 28. 000 dollar. Over 15 years following after, Luxembourg still stood at the first position, at 119. 000 dollar which was followed by Japan and Denmark, at 65. 000 dollar and 54. 000 dollar respectively. Besides, the earnings of teacher worked in Korea and Australia were almost the same and hit the lowest, at 48. 000 dollar per years.
