The following table illustrates four reasons why individuals opt to visit art events over the past 20 years in the United Kingdom. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of people who attend art events in order to escort their children and for work-related reasons is significantly increased, whereas individuals who were inclined to visit art events to see special occasions are dramatically decreased. To begin with, the number of people who visit such occasions with the purpose to see specific performers does not change over the two decades, 58% and 56% respectively. It is worth mentioning that the percentage of people who pay attention to art activity with intention to accompany children has substantially risen from 9% to 24% throughout the twenty-year period. Similarly, people who attend such occasions because of business-related reasons has increased from two decades ago(6%) and reached a peak at the present time(11%). In contrast, the percentage of people who visit art events with an eye on to see particular celebrations has fallen from 27% to 9%.
