From the table, overall, it is clear that the rates of girls and women were always higher than boys and girls. Moreover, children of both genders under 9 years old rode bicycle the most.
Just over half the number of boys and girls rode bicycles in age group 0 to 9, and this figure still kept high in girls group aged from 10 to 17, the rate of cyclists declined by over half to 24, 6%.
The percentages in 3 next age groups were much lower. In group of 18 to 39 years old, merely 17, 15 of women cycled, compared with 9, 7% of men. Between the ages of 40 to 59, the figures fell further. to 12, 3% for women and 8% for men.
