The table and the charts below show us the effect of the refurbishment of Ashdown museum. In the table we clearly see a rise in the numbers of visitors: in fact in the year before the renovation the museum visitors were 74000 while the year after the completion of refurbishment they amounted to 92000. Moreover, Museum staff decided to inquire on the enjoyment of the guests: unsurprisingly before Ashdown museum was renovated only 15% of guests stated they were very satisfied and 30% of them were satisfied with their visit. The same year, however, the numbers of people dissatisfied and very dissatisfied were respectively 40% and 10%. On the other hand, during the year after the refurbishment, the percentage of visitors satisfied (40%) and very satisfied (35%) grew, increasing 30% compared to the year before. Likewise, the dissatisfied guests diminished starting from 40% during the year before the refurbishment and reaching to 15% in the year after. To sum up, the Ashdown museum’s staff can easily conclude that the renovation was a success: not only were they able to gather more visitors after it but also the number of satisfied guests increased.
