The given table represents the consumption rate by percentage of three different categogies in five
countries Ireland, Spain, Italy, Sweeden and Turkey in the year 2002.
Overall, it is clear from the figure that consumer expenditure on foods, drinks and tobacco is higher
than two other categories in all the given countries. On the other hand, the leisure and education
category has the lowest proportion of the national user.
What stand out in the first collumn is when Turkey’s comsumer are whom expended the major of
foods, drinks and tobacco with 32. 14% of the expediture, the consumptive figure of Swedeen is the
lowest in the five nations (15. 77%).
The following collumn illustrates the percentage user of clothing and footwear items. It is clearly
that the Italian comsumer percentage stand for 9 % which is considered the highest amount of all,
on the constrast Sweeden has the fewest amount of people using clothing and footwear, only 5, 4%.
And last but not least, it is noticable from the last collumn that the proportion of Turkian spending
on education and leisure presents 4, 35% which is twice as much as that of Spain (1, 98%).
