The given chart compares the proportion of public transport users in a town between 2012 and 2015. It is clear that, the percentage of citizens used trams and bus had upward trend, while the figure for trains was dramatic decline. Additionally, trams became the best choice of passengers in this town. In 2012, the ratio of passengers using trains was highest, at 80%, while the figure for trams was significantly lower, at 20%. At the same time, the number of people travelling by buses made up 55% of total people using public transport. In 3 years next, the number of trams user was dramtically increased by 85% to 95%, making it the popular choice during research period. Meanwhile, the number of people moving by bus accounted for 60%. At the same time, there were 63% of population using trains.
