The table gives information about the proportion of expenditure spent on three categories in five different countries in 2002. Overall, it is clear that people in all countries spent large amount of money on food, drinks, and tobacco. The expense in five countries on wearing stood at second place shown on the table. In terms of food, drinks, and tobacco, Turkey experienced the highest percentage with 32. 14 percent while Ireland, 28. 91 percent, was the second highest amount on this type. There was no significance gap between three countries listed Italy, Spain, and Sweden. People in Italy used more money on clothing and footwear than other countries. By contrast, only 5. 4 percent of clothing and footwear were used by Sweden people. Looking at the leisure and education, Turkey with 4. 35 percent was the biggest amount. The percentage of Italy was as similar as Sweden on this category. Besides, Ireland with 2. 21 percent and Spain with 1. 98 percent occupied respectively.
