Although majority of people believe that the most important fields to keep updated with are science and technology, some argue that it is essential to include history in the curriculum. In my opinion, technology and science must be studied in school since they control economy, but it is important to study history to know more about past-human lifestyle and relations, and rise and fall of nations. On the one hand, teaching technology trends and latest science inventions are vital for many people because these two fields mainly control economy in countries. Countries like USA and Germany focus on such fields to produce more inventions and technologies which will result a stronger economy. In contrast, most of third-world countries economies are suffering since these countries are not supporting scientists and technologists enough. So, in order to stengthen economy in a country, students should study such topics in the school to become the furute of their nations. On the other hand, some people believe that giving history teaching a priority over other topics is important in order to gain knowledge about past-human lifystyle and relations. As people know more about the ancestors, they well be aware of their own history and the relationships between races and families. Furthermore, knowing the history of past nations and their rise and fall gives hints about the circumstances that made nations better than others in order to benefit from it in the present. In conclusion, even though technology and science are major reasons for the strength of a country and its economy, being aware of the history and relations between people and nations has many benefits that can't be ignored.
