The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities

The table gives data on metro railway means in 6 different cities. Overall, London and Tokyo showed the maximum amount of routes and passengers, while the minimum quantity was observed in Kyoto in both sides. In detail, underground railway system was opened in 1863 in London. At the first half of the 20th century other 2 subway constructions appeared in Paris and Tokyo. Between 1976 and 1981 Washington DC and Kyoto underground systems were created. However, the last tube means was produced in 2001 in Los Angeles. Moreover, the total quantity of way constituted 394 km in London, then this indicator halved, amounting to 199 km in Paris. There was a slight decrease in the amount of means in Tokyo and Washington DC, standing at 155 and 126 km respectively. Then, this figure dipped and was equal to 28 km jn Los angeles, afterwards, plummeted to 11 km in Kyoto. Furthermore, the total number of passengers in London made up 775 millions, hence, this figure for Paris increased moderately, reaching to 1191 millions. In Tokyo the date and number of travellers per year maintained the same level (1927). There was a significant reduction in the quantity of commuters in Washington DC, accounting for 144 millions. This indicator for Los Angeles and Kyoto reached a low peak of 45 and 50 millions accordingly.
