The table below describes the number of employees and factories in England and Wales from 1851 to 1901. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The table depicts the amount of employees who were working in the factories in England and Wales and Categorized them with respect to their gender over a period of 50 years with 10 years interval. In general, the number of employees in beginning of 1851 the female employees was outnumbered by the male employees. Furthermore the amount of employees at the end of each decade declined by a significant margin. In contrast the number of factories tend to show increased numbers throughout the timeline of the data. Despite having the lowest number of factories the quantity of employee in 1851 was quite enormous. Even though the number of male where high in 1851 after a decade this number dips down, to nearly half. Although the woman employees numbers has declined, its insignificant in comparison with the male employees. In the subsequent years the decline in number of employees reduced at a steady rate thereafter until 1891. In 1901 the total number employees has gone down to 61000 from 477100. Apart from this the number of factories tend to grow at the end of each decade until 1881 where it had the highest number factories. However, there was a downfall in trend after 1881. Finally there were around 600 factories with 61000 employees at the year 1901.
