Overall, after improvements, public transport has become faster while private transport has become slower. The most expensive method of transportation is taxi and the cheapest way is bus. The table shows that the average tram journey time has decreased from 22 minutes to 16 minutes, which is 6 minutes faster, and the bus journey time has also decreased from 28 minutes to 23 minutes, which is 5 minutes faster. Meanwhile, the travel time by taxi increased from 9 minutes to 12 minutes and bus increased from 10 minutes to 15 minutes. In the given bar chart, the difference in cost between the two ways of transportation is clearly shown. The private transportation costs us 1. 80 euros for taxi and 1. 00 euros for car, meanwhile the public transportation costs 0. 50 and 0. 40 euros for tram and bus respectively.
