In general, the desire to see a particular performer remains the main reason why people attend these events, whereas changes are felt during this time if there are other reasons. According to the table, 58% of adults in the UK attended art events 20 years ago. Although this figure has declined over the last decade (3%), it is currently ranked 56th in the table. Twenty years ago, the percentage of people who came to these events to watch their children was 9 and 6, and by the age of 10, that figure had risen to 6 and 4, respectively. Now this figure appears at 24 and 11, respectively. However, over the last twenty years, the proportion of people attending these events on special occasions or holidays has declined, from 27 to 20.
