The given graph illustrates about the rate of women’s literacy and population growth in selected countries from 1988 to 2000. The general overview here is that Thailand and Colombia had the most level of female literacy, While the majority of the level of population growth was Afghanistan. As can be see from the graph, Thailand and Colombia had the highest percentage of female literacy, whereas also had the amongst the lowest population growth rates, namely 1. 4% and 1. 8% respectively. The other countries named with the high female literacy rates were Sri Lanka, Jamaica, The Dominican Republic, each with over 80% female literacy, in each case the population growth rate was under a mere 2%. In contrast, Those countries with very low levels of female literacy showed extremely high figures for population growth. Afghanistan, with only 9% of female literacy, experienced an enormous growth rate, namely 4. 5% and Yemen Arab Republic, which an even lower number of literate women(8%), is second on the list, with 3. 3% of population growth.
