The diagram represents the pictorial presentation of the seed germination. The process starts when the seeds are dispersed into the soil ( contains various minerals which is necessary for the seed growth). From the lower end, radical starts germinating in the direction of gravitational force. Whilst upper part, grows as a pericarp. And the attachment grows in the direction of light is known as hypocotyl hook. After few days, development is seen in both the parts. Root portion grows down and formation of small seconadry branches. Pericarp falls away when the cotyledons are formed. When the plant completely grows, it has folliage leaves including their cotyledons. Behind the soil there was lateral and primary roots formed. To recapitulate, the process of seed germination undergoes in various stages to became a plant
