The presented line graph outlines the number of people migrating from countryside to cities in Iran, Indonesia and Russia for the period from 2000 till now. The data illustrate the movement forecasts up to 2025.
As shown in the illustration there was a considerable climb in the number of population who moved from rural to urban areas in Iran and Russia from 2000 to 2020. Whereas the number of migrated Indonesians was relatively low and had a moderate upward trend for the same period. According to the graph forecasts, the number of Russian and Iranian migrants will continue to increase noticeably till 2025, meanwhile the number of Indonesian citizens moving to cities will be unchanged.
It is apparently seen that the most significant figure of Iranian population moving to urban areas is around 95 mln people in outlook for 2025. Which is almost 12 times higher in comparison with the number migrating Iranians in 2000. The figure for Russia is slightly lower than that for Iran, the number of moving citizens will reach to approximately 89 mln people in 2025, that is about 6 times higher of the lowest level noticed in 2000. The number of Indonesians who are moving from rural to urban areas tripled to 30 mln people in 2020 and will remain constant according to the forcast presented.
