The maps illustrate the before and after changes that took place in the mining town. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the town has developed substantially. The town has more entertainment facilities compared to the past. In the past, the mine entrance for workers was in the north. There are two waste pits, one in the northeast and one in the southeast. In the centre of the mining town, there was a medical room for injured workers. A parking lot and a lorry park were built near the northwest office building and slightly further away from it. At present, waste pits 1 and 2 have been demolished in favour of a driving track and a picnic area. In addition, the office has been demolished, and a museum has been built in that place. The children's playground was constructed in the southeast of the mining town. The lorry park and medical amenities have to be demolished to reconstruct the café and a footpath.
