The plans below show a student room for two people and a student room for one person at an Australian university. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The plan illustrates a sharing room and a single room for students in an Australian university. Overall, both types of room have basic facilities required for a comfortable stay for students namely, bed, study table, television, microwave, sink, stove and many other things. Sharing room is larger than single. However, the area per student is more in case of single room. Double sharing room is build in 24 meter square area. It accommodates 2 beds which are on the opposite sides of the room. For studying, students are being provided with 2 separate study tables which are put adjacent to the bed. One table and chair is also provided in this type of accommodation which can be utilized for dinning purpose. In kitchen, stove and microwave has been provided to the tenants. There is only one bathroom which needs to be shared by both students. Tenants needs to pay $350/week for this double sharing room. Single room covers an area of 15 meter square. All facilities which being provided in double sharing room, are also there in this type of room except few things. Single room does not have a dinning table and chair. Here the student does not need to share the bathroom with anyone. This room is quite spacious. On the contrary, double sharing room is bit congested. They have to pay $200 per week for this room which is $50 as compared to the rent of double sharing room.
