The maps illustrate the developments which took place in the public garden namely Grange Park from 1920 to the present day.
Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a traditional to a modern one.
In 1920, there was a garden in the middle of a park, which is replaced by a rose garden, and a sitting area which was all around the park are removed and placed along with the rose garden. Moreover, the stage which was located in west demolished to make way for a theatre for concerts. Furthermore, the rose garden is disappeared from the southwest.
In 1920, there was a pond in the northeast, which is disappeared, and a children's play area has appeared, and beside this newly café is opened. In the south, there was a glasshouse; it is knocked down, and a water feature is placed there. Further development is the car park; this is established underground at the east side of the park. However, entrance at north and south is remained the same.
