The pie chart illustrates the changes in the production of energy that took place in France between 1995 to 2005.
Overall, it can clearly be seen that all of the produced energy experienced a significantly with the exception of Petro, which decreased drastically. Moreover, gas, petro and coal contributes the most in both years whereas nuclear and other didn’t make up as much to the production.
In terms of the energy production in 1995, gas, petro and coal were the greatest energy contributor. Each of which accounted for just below 30%. The remaining percentage, which was roughly 10%, was contributed by nuclear, which made up 6. 40% and 4. 90%, respectively.
Regarding the amount of energy produced in 2005, the percentage for gas and coal remained relatively steady until 2005. In regard to petro, the percentage experienced a significant decrease to just below one-fifth between 1995 and 2005. In contrast, the figures for nuclear and other increased slightly by approximately 5% in the same period.
