The table gives information about trains in six cities. JDwj
The given table illustrates the basic information of trains that operated in six cities. Overall, it can clearly be seen that the length of the route decreased from the eldest to the newest opened trains. Moreover, the train in Tokyo has the most passengers per year compared to the other whereas the least occupied one is in Kyoto. In terms of the three oldest trains, being established in 1863, the London train is not only the first train that operated, but it also has the longest route at 384 km, serving 775 million passengers per year. Although the undergrounds in Paris and Tokyo are not as old and about half the length the route of the London, both had twice as many annual numbers of passengers at 1191 and 1927, respectively. Regarding the three newest trains, the one in Washington DC was built approximately 1 century after the London train, with its route being around three times shorter and its annual number of passengers being roughly 5 times lower. The Kyoto underground was established precisely 5 years after that of Washington DC, while the one in Los Angeles was opened in the beginning of 21st century. The route length of the former is exactly 11 km with a total number of annual passengers of 45 million, in comparison to 28 km and 50 million for the latter.
