The pie charts compare local government spending on various purposes between 2010 and 2015. Overall, in both years, medical care, pensions and schooling contributed the highest to the total of authority investment. Meanwhile, culture and leisure, transport and miscellaneous made up the smallest share in the chart. Firstly, in 2010, the highest expenditure was education, which reached the peak of 24%. After 5 years, although the number of investment for schooling saw a slightly decrease by 3% but this sector still made up the highest percentage of the chart. Moreover, in 2010, medical services and pensions had the second and third highest rate of expenditure at 21% and 19%, respectively and statistics of both sectors remained stable in subsequent 5 years. By contrast, the figures for culture and leisure, transport and others were smallest, at about 2 % for all. Especially, there were minor decline by around 1% for both transport and culture and leisure in 2015. However, in 2015 the proportion of interest on borrowing was 10 %, doubled compared to 2010. Likewise, the number of welfare also experienced a slightly increased by 5% in 2015. Finally, spending on defense had a minute fluctuation with the percentage of 2010 was 17% then decreased to 14% in the next 5 years.
