The pie charts below show units of electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.

The pie charts compare the units of Australia and France in five different groups in 1980 and 2000. In 1980 half the coal was used in Australia compared with France just a quarter in the same source group. In Australia we can see the same units about natural gas and hydro power (20 units), and in France the same units group is coal and natural gas were 25 units. The smallest group of Australia is oil was 10 units, in constant to France the smallest source group was hydro power only 5 units. Australia’s source of coal was set a dramatically growth, increasing by 80 units, and the hydro power increased too just increasing by 16 units. While there was a sharp decline in the source of nature gas and oil, the number of them was both 2 units in 2000. In France the units nuclear power jumped to 126 units in 2000,and the oil also increased by 5 units. While the units of natural gas and hydro power saw a huge decrease, only 2 units in 2000. The coal has the same number in 2000(25 units). Overall in the main source in Australia was coal and the nuclear power was a very important source in France.
