The pie chart below presents the findings of a survey that was aimd to determine the variuos types of tourist attractions that people tend to visit in Britain during the period of 1999. It is clear from the chart that there are many places in Britian that people prefer to visit. According to what is shown, it is ovbious that a third of tourists likes to go to the theme parks when they go to Britain. It has been proved that almost half of them visited Blackpool pleasure beach, while 33% of them prefered to visit Alton towers and pleasureland. On the contrary, only 20% of people visited chessington world of advanture and legoland. Additionally, the proportion of the visitors of museums and galleries was 37%, whereas the total percentage of the tourists who visit historic houses and monuments was 16%. On the other hand, wildlife parks and zoos got the lowest proportion since it was visited by only 9% of people at that time. To sum up, we could say that there is a huge gap in terms of the number of tourists who visited the theme parks and the wildlife parks in 1999. that is because there are many tourist attractions that were found in the theme parks.
