The pie charts compare the proportion of owned and leased houses in the United Kingdom in two years 1991 and 2007. Overall, it is clear that the highest ratio was spent on homeownership and the lowest on social housing in both years. Moreover, ownership of homes increased while social leasing and social housing decreased, and private leasing remained the same. In terms of homeownership, it was the greatest and increased by 10% in 2007. Regarding private housing, it remained the same with 11%. With regard to social housing, it decreased three-fold in 2007; it was at 6% and 2% in 1991 and 2007 respectively. In terms of social leasing, it decreased slightly from 23% to 17% in 1991 and 2007 sequentially.
