The pie charts below show the percentage of housing owned and rented in the UK in 1991 and 2007. Summarize the information by describing the main features of the charts and making comparisons where appropriate.

The pie chart demonstrates the proportion of housing owned and rented in the UK from 1991 to 2007. It is clearly visible that the share of home owners has been increased dramatically in this period of time. However, number of people who rent a house as social renting has been decreased. As more people have found the ability to buy houses, more people quit social renting. As the numbers suggests, total available homes have grown by approximately a quarter. From all the houses available to rent people can either rent a house socially with partners or privately with nobody else. There is also an option to house socially with other people against being a home owner and buy the house completely on your own. Talking about social housing, it seems nowadays people tend to live privately more than the 90's. Although private renting share is constant among these years, it is clear to see that in 2007 social housing is not a desirable choice anymore.
