The chart below shows the proportion of male and female students studying six art-related subjects at a UK university in 2011. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given chart compares data about the proporting of both genders who study in 6 different subjects at a UK university in 2011. Overall, it is clear that, both male and female students were dominant in english language and literature than other subjects, while the least proportion of male students choosed philosophy and females history and archeology. Turning to the details, the number of female students maintained its prevalence in all subjects except Art and design. Being just over 150 female students were exceeded by males comprising for far under 200. On the other hand, majority of female students prefered english language and literature making for 250, meanwhile females who choosed linguistics and communication and media were slightly less than that of it. The amount of females were almost same who study in philosophy and art and design. A far more than 100 female students study history and archeology. Similarly, being just under 250 male students were also dominant in english language and literature. Males who sudy communication and media were slightly less than that of it. A number of Male students who choosed linguistics and art and design were same comprising for a far more 150. Just under 100 male students gave prevalence to history and archeology. Meanwhile, only 50 males study philosophy.
