The given chart compares data about the proporting of both genders who study in 6 different subjects at a UK university in 2011. Overall, it is clear that, both male and female students were dominant in english language and literature than other subjects, while the least proportion of male students choosed philosophy and females history and archeology. Turning to the details, the number of female students maintained its prevalence in all subjects except Art and design. Being just over 150 female students were exceeded by males comprising for far under 200. On the other hand, majority of female students prefered english language and literature making for 250, meanwhile females who choosed linguistics and communication and media were slightly less than that of it.
