The two pie charts illustrates the proportion of five types of energy production in France in 1995 and 2005. Overall, in both years, the most significant sources of energy were gas and coal which together accounted for over half of the producing energy in France. In the year 1995 other source of energy, it accounted for 4. 90% and experienced a rise of 9. 10% in the year 2005. As regards, energy produced by coal comprised of 29. 80% in the first year whereas this showed a slight increase of nearly 1% to 30. 09% in 2005. The initial figure for nuclear was 6. 40% and an incline of 10. 10% was generated. In addition to the remaining methods of producing energy, petrol energy is the year 1995, which had the ratio of 29. 22% in the year 2005. Furthermore, gas energy acquired 29. 63% in the year 1995, which has a minimum growth of 30. 31% with difference of merely 1% observed at the end of the year 2005.
