The pie chart shows many causes behind land degradation. Universally the two major causes of farmland demolishment are over grazing and removal of trees, constituing (35%) and (30%) respectively. Comprehensively (28%) of the farmland are degrated because of the over cultuvation of crops. Only (7% )accounts for other causes.
In the 1990's different region suffered differently by these causes. Ocenia had (11. 13 %) of land degradation due to over grazing, while the impact of this was lesser on europe and north america, with (5. 5%) and (1. 5%) land affected respectively. The highest overall percentange of land deterioration was suffered by euprope which was (23%), also suffered from over cultivation( 7. 7% )and destruction of tress(9. 8%). North america suffered less than other two countries from land degradation, at olny (5%) and the root of this was over cultivation (3. 3%) and to a lesser extent over grazing( 1. 5%).
Comprehensively the chart clearly shows that europe suffered the most from deterioration of land and the root of this was deforestation and over cultivation.
