The pie chart reveals the statistics for the turnover from five different books of a bookseller in 1972, 1992, and 2012. Looking from an overall perspective, the sales of adult fiction and children's fiction went up, while the figures for biography, travel, and other books experienced the opposite trend. Besides, adult fiction was undergone the most increase over the entire period. In 1972, the turnovers from fiction and biography books were recorded at the same rate, at 20%. Over the next 40 years, the percentage of Adult fiction books witnessed a double increase to 45 %, making it become the highest figure in the final year.
